NOAA's monthly Mauna Loa CO2 measurements, February 2009

Peeking over at the renowned Climate Progress blog (so far, a misnomer if I ever saw one, but we can always hope that will change direction), I am reminded of the monthly Mauna Loa CO2 measurements -- here is the graph:

We are pushing 387 ppm, people. According to Joe, the planet has not seen this concentration "in the past 650,000 (if not 20 million) years."

Personally, I don't believe that 350 ppm is what we have to get back to -- I think it is more like 280 ppm, but that's just me.
