by Brett Anderson, AccuWeather, January 27, 2010A recent article from NASA's Earth Observatory claims that the latest data reveal that Antarctica is losing ice at an accelerating rate. But how can that be? Especially when one recent study claimed that there has been less surface melting on the giant ice sheet in recent years and the evidence that the amount of sea ice around Antarctica has been slightly increasing.
